I am inspired by Burlesque & Old Hollywood Glamor costumes and performances.  I love the idea of adding glamour to everyday clothing and even adding elaborate pieces to a night out.  For one night its really alot of fun to wear glamorous pieces. Don't hesitate to mix them with daytime wear jeans, sweaters and blazers.  These designs are meant to be eclectic to wear with many looks.  Here is a short video on how to wear some of these pieces.

 

Inspiring Women - Josephine Baker, Dita Von Tesse, Gypsy Rose Lee

Many ladies of Burlesque rose to fame on the stage with outlandish costumes and antics.  Each performer wore elaborate costumes and jewelry.

Josephine Baker wore a skirt of bananas and Dita Von Tesse uses bird cages and martini glasses for her performances. Old or new these ladies add elements of glamour, inventiveness and edge to their performances.
